Bruno De Jonghe (baritone-bass) studied at the royal Conservatory of Brussels and the Lemmens Institute of Leuven. He earned the "Diplôme Supérieur" for voice, chamber music, lyrical art, an Master in Music (voice) and teaching diploma. He perfected his singing with Chris Van Woerkom, Roland Bufkens, Ronny Lauwers, Helene Luyten, Vivianne Spanoghe, Loh Sieuw-Tuan, Dina Grossberger and Sandy Stone.

As a soloist, he performed with famous ensembles and orchestras in passions, oratorio and opera in the Flanders Festival, "Muziektheater Transparant" TV broadcasts with 'Paulus' by F. Mendelssohn, and in the programme "Vuurvogel", "Richard goes Classic" with the VRT-Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ronald Corp.

He recorded the musical Extasy by Alexander Raghbari, and Psalm 138 by Eduardo Enrique Gajardo.
Bruno De Jonghe sang in the Rape of Lucretia by Benjamin Britten, Songfest and Trouble in Tahiti by L. Bernstein, Figaro in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro.

He is a member of the vocal Ensemble "Vocamabile".
Bruno De Jonghe taught voice at several music schools and was guest teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

He is now director of the Brussels Capital Music Academy .
